Emerald Heart

The Emerald Heart is a unique and revered order within the Court, encompassing healers, combat medics, mystics, gatherers, and those attuned to nature’s rhythms. These individuals are granted the rare privilege of specializing in holy magics and healing arts, a gift bestowed by the Duke himself. They serve the Court through their work in healing, alchemy, and sometimes as scouts venturing into the wilderness. The Emerald Heart is led by the Emerald Sage, who is seconded by the Emerald Seer. Below them, the ranks are as follows: 

The highest authority within the Emerald Heart, the Emerald Sage is a master of both healing and holy magic, possessing deep knowledge of nature’s secrets. As a trusted advisor to the Duke, they guide the order in its missions and decisions. Their role is not only to heal but to ensure the preservation of the balance between magic, nature, and the Court. The Emerald Sage’s wisdom is sought in matters of both health and the mystical forces that govern life. 

The second-in-command, the Emerald Seer serves as both a spiritual guide and a strategic advisor. A master of divination and foresight, they are able to peer into the future and guide the Court with their insights. The Seer assists the Emerald Sage in all matters and oversees the direction of the Emerald Heart’s efforts, ensuring their work aligns with the Duke's vision and the needs of the Court.

Every operative in the Emerald Heart practices the arts of healing and magical restoration. At the Hand level, individuals perform these duties with heightened expertise and independence, serving as the trusted executors of the order’s core missions. 

Adepts are those who have honed their skills in both magical healing and alchemical arts, though they are not yet fully realized masters. They are often found assisting the higher ranks in their work, whether through potions, spells, or minor healing. Their expertise is growing, but they are still learning the depth of nature's magic and its true potential. 

 Clerics perform the essential rituals and restorative practices that every member upholds. In this rank, however, they assume greater responsibility for overseeing the order’s ceremonial and healing operations, ensuring that the spiritual and physical health of the Court is maintained. 

Adept members share in the practice of healing and mystical study, gradually taking on more complex tasks. Their growing authority allows them to lead small teams and innovate in alchemical or restorative techniques, all while following the same core principles. 

Initiates are dedicated to mastering the foundational arts of the Emerald Heart, from basic healing practices to early studies in mysticism. Although their duties mirror those of every member, their rank reflects a period of learning and gradual assumption of broader responsibilities.
