Amethyst Veil

The Amethyst Veil serves as the diplomatic core of the Crimson Court, where intellect, strategy, and subtlety combine to maintain the Court’s influence. Within its protective embrace, one finds diplomats, spies, attendants, and merchants — each skilled in the delicate arts of negotiation, secrecy, and statecraft. Sanctioned by the Duke himself, the Amethyst Veil carries out the Court's diplomatic affairs, whether through eloquent words, trade, whispered secrets, or even the sharp edge of a dagger. Their work ensures the Court’s power is preserved and enhanced through the careful use of intelligence and strategy. The Amethyst Veil is led by the Amethyst Vizier, with the Amethyst Broker serving as their second-in-command. Below them, the ranks are as follows: 

The supreme authority within the Amethyst Veil, the Vizier is the Duke's chief diplomat and strategist. A master of both diplomacy and subterfuge, they orchestrate the Court’s foreign and internal policies, carefully balancing alliances, trade agreements, and covert operations. The Vizier is a figure of immense influence, holding the power to shape the fate of kingdoms with a single word or decision. 

The Broker is the Vizier’s trusted second, responsible for managing the delicate negotiations and intricate trade agreements that sustain the Court's wealth and power. They also manage the Court’s network of spies and informants, ensuring that the Veil's intelligence operations run smoothly. Skilled in both financial and political maneuvering, the Broker serves as the crucial link between diplomacy and resource acquisition. 

Every member of the Veil engages in establishing alliances and securing the Court’s interests. At the Envoy level, this role is performed with greater autonomy and influence, allowing them to lead complex negotiations and missions that mirror the everyday duties of their peers but on a larger, more impactful scale. 

Liaisons perform the same essential functions as all Veil members by representing the Court in direct interactions with external contacts. Their increased seniority means they are trusted to manage the most delicate and high-stakes communications, ensuring the same foundational work is done with superior authority. 

All Veil operatives contribute to intelligence verification and oversight. As an Auditor, one operates with added responsibility and authority to validate and analyze critical information, ensuring that the Court’s core interests in diplomacy, trade, and covert operations are maintained with heightened scrutiny. 

 While every member secures communications and manages sensitive information, the Cipher rank signifies a senior operative whose enhanced expertise and authority ensure that the encryption and decryption processes are conducted flawlessly, protecting the Veil’s shared responsibilities at a higher level. 

Judicars, like every member, support the Court’s diplomatic and covert endeavors. Their role is distinguished by greater responsibility in upholding policies and resolving conflicts, ensuring that the standard duties of the Veil are enforced consistently across all operations with a higher level of authority.
