Rumor has it that there are a few new faces and merchants about the Cabbala. Seek them out and inquire on their wares, and see if they are someone the Crimson Court should associate with.
Work with an associate from the Society of Shadows and venture into Helheim and gather information on the merchants and trade.

Recent intel suggests an increase in the population of supernatural-specializing hunters within Helheim. These hunters have honed in upon the court as their primary focus due to our rising notoriety across the lands. A peculiar individual worthy of noting is a hunter that goes by the name of ‘Sterling’. Please disguise yourselves, remove your badges and venture into Helheim to inquire about these hunters amongst the public. I trust you all to operate with tact and secrecy. Please compose a report with your findings.
Danti will be DMing 2 events this month to begin a chain of ‘hunter’ storylines. When attending these, players will be rewarded with their expected end of month currency for participation.
With the Society of Shadows having several tasks your Shadow Master and Shadow Hand have crafted some appropriate tasks for this month, remember that the more reports and tasks you do, the easier it is to gain your complete monthly pay and be considered for promotions which also increases your pay. With this being said, here are the tasks and quests for this month:
Since our stay as a Guild officially depends on the gathering of information for the Archon, it is very important for one of the monthly tasks to be related to such. However unlike last quest, this one shall have two options. The first one, now that we are familiar with our new home the Cabbala, try to learn about the other groups, make contacts within and friends, for there seems to be someone spreading fallacies about our unwavering loyalty to the Archon and we cannot abide for false suspicions and rumors to arise about our loyalties, thus finding out who are our friends and allies within home is pivotal, this shall let us flush out any kind of possible deceiver and have justice be done. Also if you befriend and cause said contacts to become allied with the Court for possible business that is a nice little extra.
Helheim remains our primary rival and since we have a Trading Agreement with the Tusks and is still in the forging it would be good to have eyes and ears above ground, and find out what the military orders of Helheim are up to these days, or of course, see if you can spy on its nobility with discretion and utmost caution. After the Winter Festivities there has been a sense of quietness, so we could use this to learn more about those who view us as foes. Learn about their projects, rumors, military strategies, or even gossip about the nobility, and even plant misinformation among them when it suits you.
Not all of the Society focuses on the gathering of secrets, we are also researchers and artificers. In this path, word gets out that the Lady Ekkailah is seeking those studious and adventurous types to assist in the creation of a Golem for the Court's use. Such crafting requires fine materials and no small amount of process. There are a few ways which can be of assistance:
a) Research texts regarding fleshcrafting, soul capture and binding, and magical constructs. Note how the magics for each may interact and balance each other as well as any potential side effects or backlash we may face.
b) Gather materials to be used in creation. Stone and gems of sufficient quality (DC 10-15+ is good, DC 16-19 is superb, 20+ is perfect), creation of magical mortar, carving of found gems, and harvesting of blood and hearts from fallen enemies, the latter can be done in unison with members of the Legion if they are available.
A courtier overheard the Dread Duke mentioning a need for new furs; in a rush to please him the Court rides into the woods!
This is a solo or group hunting quest that uses the OoS d100 system. It’s divided into Tracking, Hunting, and Skinning stages. Each stage involves rolling a d100 and narrating the outcome based on the results. No GM required!
Quest Outline:
Stage 1: Tracking (Finding the Quarry)
Optional Bonus: Add +10 if you have hunting gear or favorable terrain.
Roleplay: Take 10 minutes to narrate how you find the animal, using details like footprints, broken branches, or sounds.
Stage 2: Hunting (The Kill)
Optional Modifiers
Roleplay: Take 20 minutes to describe the hunt: your approach, the shot, and the prey’s reaction.
Stage 3: Skinning (The Trophy)
Optional Modifiers:
Roleplay: Take 10 minutes to narrate the skinning process, describing your care and the outcome.
For group play, each player completes the stages, then shares their results and stories. To complete the quest, turn the pelt into the Duke!

These words were heard through the guild as the Prince Regent rushed through it, idly waving his hand at attendants, “Fancy things…now!”
The Prince Regent seems to have forgotten to get Lucian a gift for their Anniversary.
He demands something ‘Fancy’ but it can’t be bought! No no it must be earned and some really ‘fancy’ and the most fanciest stuff is stolen stuff.
Objective: Enter Helheim! Steal a fancy thing, and bring it to the Prince Regent!
